Terms of service

These terms apply to orders placed at sculptuvo.com. By placing an order you agree to them.

What we make

Sculptuvo makes hand-finished sculptures. Most are custom portraits sculpted by our artists from photographs supplied by you; some, such as classical busts, are ready-made pieces held in stock. Every custom piece is made to order and is unique.

The proof and your approval

For custom orders you receive a digital proof of the likeness before anything is made. You may request unlimited changes to that proof at no extra cost. Approving the proof authorises us to begin making the piece and is the point after which the order can no longer be cancelled. If you never approve a proof, you are entitled to a full refund — see Returns & Refunds.

Because every piece is finished and painted by hand, small variations between the proof and the finished sculpture are normal. Variations that mean the piece no longer resembles the approved proof are covered by our returns policy.

The photographs you send us

By sending photographs you confirm that you own them or have permission to use them, and that you have the right to have the people or animals in them depicted as a sculpture. We use your photographs solely to make your order. We do not sell them, publish them, or use them in advertising without your written permission. Photographs are deleted from our working systems within 12 months of your order being completed — sooner on request.

Original designs only

We design original costumes, poses and finishes. We do not reproduce licensed characters, brand marks or studio logos, and we may decline any request that would require us to.

Pricing and payment

All prices are in US dollars and include the piece, its base, presentation packaging and free standard shipping. Express shipping is charged separately at checkout. Payment is taken in full at the time of order. Customs duties on international orders are not included and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Orders we may decline

We may decline or refund an order where the photographs supplied are not usable, where the request would infringe someone else's rights, or where we cannot achieve a likeness we would be willing to send. Where we decline, we refund in full.

Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer law.
