Frequently asked questions
Do I need photos to order?
No. You can order first. After checkout, reply to your order-confirmation email with your photographs. You receive a digital proof within 24 hours of us receiving them, and production starts only after you approve it.
Which photos work best?
Two or three clear photos in good light: one straight on, one from the side, and one you simply love. No sunglasses or hats unless you want them in the sculpture. Phone photos are absolutely fine.
What if my photos are old or blurry?
Contact the studio to discuss the photographs you have, especially for memorial pieces. Extra angles can help. We will assess the available detail and discuss the likeness with you before production.
What if the proof doesn't look like them?
Tell us what's off — the face, the hair, the clothing, the expression — and we adjust it. There is no limit on changes to the proof and no extra charge. If it never feels right, cancel for a full refund before we begin.
Can it be two people?
Yes. Custom Couple Bust is a custom couple sculpture, available in Classic 8 in, Signature 10 in and Grand 14 in. The digital proof shows how the two portraits sit together before production.
What are the sculptures made from?
Our sculptures are 3D-printed in marble PLA filament, then finished and painted by hand.
How is it finished?
Each piece is a hand-finished sculpture with a hand-painted finish. Our artists apply colour to the sculpted face, hair, clothing or coat. Defined shapes, visible texture and small variations give each piece its sculptural character.
How long does it take?
Free standard shipping to a US address takes 3–4 weeks. DHL Express is $49 at checkout and takes 7–10 days. Both are tracked and insured. The clock starts when you approve the proof, not when you order — see Shipping & Delivery.
Can I get it by a specific date?
Contact the studio before ordering with your delivery address and the date you need it. We will confirm whether that timing is achievable before you place the order.
Do you ship outside the US?
Yes, with free tracked and insured shipping. Times vary by country and express is US-only for now, so contact us before ordering and we'll confirm timing and any duties.
Can I cancel?
Any time before you approve the proof, for any reason, for a full refund. After you approve it we begin making the piece and it can no longer be cancelled. Full detail in Returns & Refunds.
How do I look after it?
Dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Display it indoors, away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Avoid abrasive cleaners and handle the sculpture carefully when moving it.
How do I track my order?
You get a tracking number by email as soon as your piece ships. If tracking hasn't updated in five business days, let us know and we'll chase it.
